The Seaplane is a fully licensed airline that started operation
in 2007. The seaplane runs a scheduled service between Malta and
Gozo and scenic tours around the Maltese Islands. It also offers
chartered flights on request. The aircraft is a De Havilland DHC-3
Turbine Otter and has a seating capacity of 14 passengers. The
seaplane service out of the Grand Harbour is a hit with locals
and foreigners alike. This concept of using seaplanes to travel
is quite unique in Europe and aviation enthusiasts have been coming
to Malta to experience the thrill of taking off and landing in
water. We believe that this product has been further enhancing
the tourist product locally.
