The Seaplane is a fully licensed airline that started operation in 2007. The seaplane runs a scheduled service between Malta and Gozo and scenic tours around the Maltese Islands. It also offers chartered flights on request. The aircraft is a De Havilland DHC-3 Turbine Otter and has a seating capacity of 14 passengers. The seaplane service out of the Grand Harbour is a hit with locals and foreigners alike. This concept of using seaplanes to travel is quite unique in Europe and aviation enthusiasts have been coming to Malta to experience the thrill of taking off and landing in water. PREMIUM SEAT - allows you to sit at the one and only seat inside the cockpit next to the pilot to enjoy 180 degrees view. You will be given a set of head phones which allows you to listen the pilot communications with Malta air traffic control dispatcher.
