Gozo is the sister island of Malta. It is less crowded, more quiet and rustic and definitely more attractive. It is connected to Malta by a ferry with car transport in about 25 min. Departures are every hour.

The transport from Malta Airport to the ferry requires approximately 1 hour. Gozo has all the shops and services you might require e.g. banks, supermarkets, pharmacies, hospital etc. and they are mainly concentrated in Victoria, the capital city.

Various restaurants can be found all over the island.
Gozo main attractions are the salt-pans, the Citadel, the Megalithic Temples and its natural beauty.

Foresteria Ogygia is one kilometer from the centre of Gharb where you can find a small supermarket and two restaurants. Victoria is at 4 km distance.
