Eating at D-BAR, whether our special
pan pizza, pasta or from our exclusive a' La Carte menu featuring
traditional Gozitan dishes, is always an experience in itself, especially
when complemented by our home-made ice-cream and sweets.
Qala,an idyllic village to the east of Gozo, is home to one of the unique
spots on this island. Located in Saint Joseph Square, in the middle of
Qala, is the D-BAR CAFE.
D-BAR is a family run Restaurant, Pizzeria and Bar.
Brimming with charm and tradition, one finds themselves at the bar and
dining area with surrounding field's names covering the walls of the lower
level. On the other hand, the upper level has a different setting and
style, boasting a collection of old style photographs of Qala. Moreover,
one can find a nice terrace which diners can use in the summer months.
The food at D-BAR has been termed as fabulous by the various patrons who
return time and time again. It is prepared with great zeal by Twanny and
Natalie, the owners, and his darling mother Cetta, together with Sunny
the Nephew.
The food is always freshly prepared. We do not believe in half cooking
and warming up. Whatever you order is always prepared there and then.
You may have to wait some time but your patience will surely be rewarded!!
